It's O.K. to Be SQUARE
A radical change in the look and design of drivers is coming soon from
manufacturers like Callaway Golf and Nike Golf.

These are both, still works in progress, as even the names of the clubs may change.
The concept behind these new designs is that weight can be displaced in a "square head" to achieve extreme heel and toe weighting. This creates less twisting and turning of the club head when you hit off-center. As a result you can drive straighter when you hit the ball high or low on the face or closer to the heel or toe.
This is certainly a big change from what we have seen lately in Driver design. Nike and Callaway are currently still working on these new designs and they aren't expected to be in Pro Shops before early Spring 2007 so stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
