As we approach the upcoming season here in New Jersey we plan to have video instruction concerning the Rules of Golf as administered by the USGA.
Here we will delve into the rules of golf and expand on the implications in order to provide a clear understanding as they apply to your game.
One of the core functions of the USGA is to write, interpret and protect the Rules of Golf. The Association does this in conjunction with the R&A in St. Andrews, Scotland, which governs the game everywhere but the U.S., its territories and Mexico. Every four years, revisions are made to the Rules of Golf, with the latest taking effect on Jan. 1, 2004.
